[en]At the Deathfest 4 event, showing a veriaty of some of the best death metal bands in Indonesia, Edi Siswadi as the govener of Bandung kicked the gigantic baloon, marking the official opening of the Helarfest events. Metalheads around can be proud because this event is the biggest death metal festival ever being held in Indonesia, better yet, in all of Asia.
Showing off products from local home industries, is the Autofest that’s held at the Gedung Sate. One of the main reasons Autofest is held is to raise the people’s awareness, trust and pride in our local products.[/en]
[id]Pada acara Deathfest 4 yang menampilkan berbagai band death metal terbaik asal Indonesia ini, walikota Bandung Edi Siswadi menendang balon raksasa sebagai tanda rangkaian acara HELARFEST telah resmi dibuka. Para metalhead boleh bangga karena acara ini merupakan festival death metal terbesar yang pernah diadakan di Indonesia dan bahkan di Asia.
Autofest yang berlangsung di gedung sate, menampilkan produk industri kecil menengah. Autofest digelar salah satunya agar masyarakat semakin percaya dan bangga terhadap produk lokal.[/id]
[en]Meanwhile, Paris Van Java which is always crowded on a normal Saturday, became even more crowded because of Bambu Nusantara 3 that’s being held there. The opening was signalled by a monologue performance by a bamboo mask and other atributes wearing performer. Next up were performances by an Angklung Parade, Bambu Karawitan, and a couple of bands that included bamboo elements into their music.[/en]
[id]Sementara itu Paris Van Java di hari sabtu yang biasanya sudah ramai, menjadi semakin ramai ketika Bambu Nusantara 3 berlangsung. Pembukaan ditandai dengan performance monolog dari seseorang yang mengenakan topeng dan atribut yang terbuat dari bambu. Acara dilanjutkan dengan Parade Angklung, Bambu Karawitan, dan beberapa band yang memasukkan unsur bambu kedalam musiknya.[/id]
[en]But all this is just the beginning. Till the end of December, there will be more than 60 creative events, ranging from the art community, design, photography, to a wide selection of food, will gather at Helarfest 2009, the biggest creativity festival in all of Asia.[/en]
