This unique arrangement of 5 porcelain vessels by Nicolas Cheng, is inspired by 5 different wood types found in the forest. Inspiration from different types of wood forms is what gave birth to the variations of each porcelain, which are packed in boxes made from the very wood piece that has inspired each form and also specially fitted for the 5 different shapes. These 5 porcelains that plays on perception, explores variant form varieties but all designed to contain 150 ml of water.

This innovative simple visual illusion by Cheng, interestingly tickles the senses. The diameters are all different, subconsciously urging us to create subjective perceptives on the volumes. Not to mention the accent on each unique handle that’s adaptive to each form. Beware your eyes.
