Bamboestoel

An eye-catching chair with its unique form, made of 100% bamboo.

Involved in the “Dutch Design Meets Bamboo” workshop, at first both Tejo Remy and René Veenhuizen tried to bend the bamboo, but failed, causing it to break. After many experiments, they succeded in creating this chair with its interesting accent, using the improved bending technique they found, which is by widening the surface and elongating the joints of the bamboo.

Its seven aestheticly bended curves, which are then assembled together forming this chair, definitely adds value to Bamboestool. The chairs’ unusual form makes it a suitable accent for a sitting room.
