Darbotz is one of Jakarta street artist consistently working on art projects since 2004 in Jakarta public spaces.

Darbotz himself was one of the founding fathers of www.tembokbomber.com, a Street Art community site accomodating street art expansion around Indonesia.

His solo exhibition in 2010 brought the world of street art higher on the level and influenced its spreading. This time Darbotz was trying to express his graphic style on a fixed gear bicycle which happened to be an urban phenomena lately.

With black paint washing and his freehand touch, turned this bike more unique also with the addition of drink bottle storage as a place to bring round cans of spray paint and has become an exciting idea.

Do you plan to sell it?

Darbotz :

Nahh..hahaha, just for fad, really..

FOLD :

How long did you take to finish it?

Darbotz :

Took quite a long time to gather the parts, from getting the colnago road bike in bandung to getting the other parts. it took about 3 months. Since i got so buzy that time preparing for the exhebition as well.

The assembly was fast. About a week total of drawing, painting and assembling.

FOLD :

How much money you’ve spent for this?

Darbotz :

About 5 million rupiah.

FOLD :

Still planing on puting adds on?

Darbotz :

Perhaps, just changing for better parts i guess.

I wanna put the aerospoke. Hahah

That can storage idea was a blast by the way.

Yeah, i did planned that since first time.
