In Autumnal Sunshine

All this time I have always imagined that a multifunction object has to be complex and complicated. But that thought was immidiatly canceled out by this In Autumnal Sunshine – a flexible table to fulfill your daily needs, such as a coffee table, a magazine stand, and book.

Based on the philosophy of a leaf that sways while slowly withering; protecting the earth from the blazing heat and arching perfectly by the wind at the end of summer, In Autumnal Sunshine has become a realization of Kazuhiro Yamanaka’s image of his hometown.

Kazuhiro’s design has an honest impression, uniquely flexible with an arch at the end of the table, indicating a leaf, while subtly informing how to place objects safely onto it. His design also indicates on how light the product is, held by only two legs placed diagonally to support it.
