Lampu Wijaya Kusuma

If hanging 10 identical lamps in a room looks rigid and boring, this Wijaya Kusuma Lamp serves the opposite, creating a warm and dynamic impression because of its variety of shapes.

The Wijaya Kusuma Flower, a flower that only blooms every 1- 7 times a year at night time, and wilts at dawn. This is the flower that inspired Fauzi Arif Adhika in making this lamp. When bloomed, the Wijaya Kusuma gives off a strong and characteristic fragrance. Besides that, it’s impossible to preserve this flower, because upon cutting, it will immediately wither. Very exclusive, no?

This lamp consists of one set, with each part representing a form of the Wijaya Kusuma flower, starting from the bud, ending in full bloom. Through this lamp, Fauzi intends to remind us of the metamorphosis proses constantly happening around us, but often forgotten.

The two layers of the design functions as the lamps’ heat reducer, and also in emitting an interesting and unusual lighting accent.
