Nice form from Chad Jensen, inspired by jewelry and the Marquis diamond cut, originally commissioned by Louis XIV (The Sun King 1638-1715); this cut is said to be amongst the most difficult. The bench is constructed from individually crafted modular elements, selected for linear grain pattern. The pieces are then randomly assembled to create concentric facets.
