By exploring folding techniques, the main base for lampion making, the Midnight Mistress was born.
Fitorio Bowo Leksono here is trying to convert a ‘wanita malam’ into a desk lamp made out of brocade and ratan. This product is made by the ever skillful craftsmen from Indonesia.
In 2008, this product was also presented at the Market for Artist and Designer held at Red Dot Design Museum Singapore and at the Designboom Mart Sydney.
Dengan mengeksplorasi teknik folding yang menjadi dasar pembuatan lampion, Midnight Mistress lahir.
Fitorio Bowo Leksono mencoba menerjemahkan seorang wanita malam kedalam sebuah lampu meja yang dapat diringkas dan terbuat dari bahan utama kain brokat dan rotan. Midnight Mistress dibuat oleh pengrajin yang terampil dari Indonesia.
Pada tahun 2008, produk ini juga sempat hadir dalam Market for Artist and Designer di Red Dot Design Museum Singapore dan Designboom Mart Sydney.

rio, i imagine it like the midnight hostesses, at midnight they’re bright and upright, but in the morning they lose their composure and dim.
