With so many communication applications in the internet world, Skype became one of the most popular applications in 2008 until this very day. The fun thing about Skype, is that users can also communicate while expressing themselves instead of just typing. Because no matter what, well, Â emoticons can only go so far.
The variety of communication applications has created a venue for product designers to create new products. Such as Pappa Phone, a phone especially made for the ever popular Skype. It’s very easy to use and there’s no need for any software installation.
In 2006, Hulger released Ziricote, made from African wood of the same name. The product was well-accepted and he then created Pappa as a perfected version of the previous product.
Wood and brass is the material that makes this product special: they create a situation where the product demands maintenance. Not in a burdening way though, because through daily maintenance, this product will become even more beautiful.
Daily polishing with a soft cloth will maintain the woods natural gloss and the brass polished with special liquid to keep the shiny brass color. It’s these things that maintains the product durability and creates a certain bond with its owner. What fun!
