[en]Know how to play with the egrang (stilts)? I myself have always wanted to be able to play with it. I’ve tried playing with it a couple of times as a kid, but the results were always the same: 2 seconds on and I’m back on the ground. Despite having already given up, my curiousity was once again aroused when I saw this wooden seat in the Bandung Public Furniture 2009 exhibition.[/en]
[id]Bisa bermain egrang?
[en]As I was about to aproach the egrang, out of nowhere this guy was running towards it, trying to use it. Then his friend came and helped hold the egrang while he tried to balance himself on it. Then they switched positions, still trying to walk on it. It’s nice to see a product give something more then just function and visual beauty. Kudos to Gilang Mandiri and Nindya Nareswari for being able to create a product that attracts a lot of responses from people!
This public furniture designed seat is made of maple and pine wood, consisting of 2 seats facing the opposite of each other. The seating part of this furniture can be detached, so the egrang that’s disguised as the seat supporter can be played with. Very interesting![/en]
Sungguh menarik![/id]

I think, it’s better you give some short manual instruction to play it. from my experienced, it’s quite hard for the first time.hahahah

actually, the structure is still needs to be repaired and the egrang should be more easily separated from the chair, we discovered this problem after the people used this product continuously… we will fix it and add some improvement at Mk.II type

i think the shape is ok, but if you want to play lil bit, you can use various color for the rope that wrapped around the egrang handle.
keep it up
