PLUMEN

“when design is central to the product……..”,

Hulger being so sensitive that they find out low energy light bulbs aren’t attractive at all. Each is uniform in shape and they said it fails to generate interest, tension or beauty of form. They realize if it wasn’t government that forces us to use it, then we wouldn’t even use it. And after these years, they finally show us how a bulb plays and plumes, and becomes PLUMEN.

”At Hulger, we have taken the tubular form of the bulbs and begun to realize their true potential. Doing so changes our appreciation of the bulb; when design is central to the product, not just an afterthought, it becomes a sculptural object fit to grace public spaces, not something to hide away in storerooms and workshops”
