Also called the Wind Draught, SIE23 and SIE32 is a chair as a  functional object that  is combined with the quality of an art object, including the reflection and characteristic association  in challenging the mind.

Create by Polandia designer Pawel Grunert, famous for his daring designs on furnitures, installations, and architectural aspects, also natural elements that always seems like a packed ensemble  in his works. Wind Draught was created using thousands of long willow stems that are specially woven, standing on a slim stainless steel support, which Powel quotes as an ‘art chair’, reflects newness in the ‘light’ nature : stacks of willow stems hovering low in the air.

With a single chair installation for the SIE23 model and a double for the SIE32 model, both a very limited produced product, by this Powel Grunert means to express a subtle message on our relationship with nature while at the same time offering a contemplative comfort breaking through our daily rutinities: to stop technology for a while to contemplate, think, and dream.
